"Nice clean quirky room"

"Decorated beautifully but room was sweltering. Had air con on as low as possible and the windows had condensation on the inside. Didn’t sleep a well at all and didn’t stay for breakfast. Staff were friendly and attentive, rooms were equipped with toiletries, ghds and hair dryer etc but there was nowhere to sit and do make up by the vanity mirror. "

"Love love love this hotel. Always our preferred option when visiting Manchester. Parking is a nuisance as it’s very limited at the hotel itself. NCP is just across the street but not ideal if you are carrying luggage and it does tend to rain in Manchester. Bar area is lovely but staff can be slow to serve. Not helped when they leave the bar to serve food. Could do with more staff for a hotel of this standard. Breakfast is great and plenty of options. One annoying thing we did notice is the host doesn’t give the same information to everyone. We were seated and told where things were and left to. The couple who got seated behind us were told they could order different eggs with him as only scrambled on the buffet. Very annoying as I hate scrambled eggs. Overall an 8/10"

"Good location,spacious ckean modern room. Helpful staff on check in. Unfortunately i stopped in room 111 house 1, the window wouldnt close securley. Large window was left open when i arrived in my designated room. I reported to the check in desk. No sleep from the outside noise and also fire alarm going off at 3am. "

"Good quality and our room rate was excellent value, clean, with light and airy, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, lovely staff, great location. "

"The room.was good value. Kept beautifully clean . Breakfast was good. Not impressed by bar staff member. I ordered 2 small orange juices , pepermint tea and an Americano with plenty of milk. He turned up with one orange and a glass of milk commenting abruptly before i said anything " you said you wanted plenty of Milk", in a rather confrontational manner. I went to ask about the orange and he got one that was not full from under counter( i could see from where i sat) topped it up with water, stirred it then brought it over snd i was charged another £2 ! Not impressed by this barman at all who came scross rude . I also heard him dpeaking abruptly to another coouple . Sadly this let our experience down . Otherwise well worth staying snd will again "

"The breakfast was lovely. Normal continental breakfast. I would have liked a bit more option or variety but what was there was nice. :) "

"Have stayed here before and came back because of the great price in such a good location. I also love the reception and bar / breakfast areas. The rooms are a little lacking but for the price, it’s all you need. I would stay again!"

"I have a party to go and didn’t go back to hotel until 2:45 in the morning, the young girl wasn’t happy to open the door for me at that time. "
