Even the valets were friendly and accommodating. The room was very cool and they even did turndown service while I was out and about. "We had such a wonderful night at the Frances Modern Inn. Their room 15 is a gorgeous two story suite with a perfectly curated apartment feel, just with all of the amenities of a five star hotel. The staff went out of their way to help us with parking and even left birthday cupcakes for my husband. There is a beautiful patio and courtyard to hang out in before even arriving in the suite. I also loved the digital system for the valet bc I could tip each valet at the end of my stay and summon the car from my phone in the comfort of my room. "Clean, large room! On site restaurant was delicious. In great area to walk to many restaurants. Noisy bar next door but they provide ear plugs & sound machines, so easily drowned out the music."

"When we were greeted with margaritas, I knew I booked the right hotel! Right off of 6th street in the midst of everything going on. We enjoyed the diner connected to the hotel which had really good food. Valet and front desk staff were all 10/10. The only thing I didn't like in the room is the mini cooler didn't get cool enough to keep drinks in there or food. Other than that I would highly recommend!"

"Check in was easy! Vallet was efficient and friendly! Room was comfortable and clean. Fitness center has Peleton equipment and was spacious- free weights and machines were up to date and well kept. The location was perfect for easy access to great restaurants and 6th street. We will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family! "

"Multiple days of additional charges of amenity fees and parking add up quick. Found out about the guest happy hour in the cafe on the second day of our trip, free glass of sparkling wine was nice. It was rainy and overcast for most of our trip so we couldn’t use the pool. Water seemed a bit chilly so it would be nice on a very warm day. No in room coffee. No fridge for personal food and beverage, just mini bar options. Deluxe king room was immediately behind dog daycare/boarding, could hear dogs...

Check-in was great. Helpful customer service. Parking is $55 for self parking. I was told if I wanted to valet it would be $75. The location is right by I-35. Be mindful of this because there is the freeway noise, the construction noise, construction. The room “looked” clean. But, we all had red bumps that...

"The Driskill is being renovated, something not disclosed on Expedia. Dining room, fitness facility and most of lobby & 2nd floor are closed. Further, Driskill didn't have room we reserved available on 1st night. We were placed in downsized room, with smaller bed. No compensation provided by Driskill for lesser room. Extremely poor experience for self-proclaimed luxury hotel."

"Tremendous noise problem if your room is on the front roadway, provided noise machine and ear plugs notwithstanding. Hotel shows some wear in rooms. Staff routinely provide less than complete answers to simple questions. Valet pretty quick must times."

"The staff were amazing. The valet even helped us get and set up the uber app that we had never used. Check in was prompt and easy. The room was very clean and the bed was great. The bathroom area lighting was not as bright as I would prefer, likely due to the black decor. I was disappointed that the only in room coffee option was Nespresso, not a fan so I had to leave the room to get coffee from the coffee shop. The lack of a microwave was also disappointing. "
