"Die Einweisung zum Zimmer war trotz und wegen der verspäteten Ankunft gut organisiert und kommuniziert. Das Zimmer war hervorragend, ebenso wie das Bad. Das ganze mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war den regionalen Gepflogenheiten entsprechend und sehr lecker Die weiteren Gasträume (Kaminzimmer und Bar) ließen sich gut nutzen. "This is a quaint B&B in the heart of St Mere Eglise, 1 short block from anywhere in town. Room was very spacious. Beautiful courtyard in the back that is great for your homemade happy hour. Or if you prefer, the best restaurant in town is 30 feet from the courtyard. "

"A stunning hotel, 5 star accommodation at a fraction of the cost. I received a wonderful warm welcome from the lady on reception who showed me to my room and booked a restaurant from me 10 mins walk away. "

"Really beautiful and quiet place. Rooms are clean and the beds ultra comfortable. There is a heated pool on site, which unfortunately I didn't get to use as it was a brief overnight stay. Damien was very welcoming and attentive. Really lovely breakfast served - including some amazing homemade jams. Will definitely return here and highly recommend to all. "

"I would definitely stay here again, it was such a great location to catch the ferry from Cherbourg and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We checked in quite late, around 7pm, parking and taking my dog were no problem, it was all so easy and in an incredibly impressive historical building. There is a restaurant in the hotel which we didn’t try and also quite a few other places to eat within the town. It felt very safe and quiet. "

"The owners were lovely and very welcoming with off road parking provided within the grounds. The whole building was full or character and very stylishly decorated to a high level with a selection of D-day memorabilia and information in the dining room. There was a good breakfast included of Croissant/Pain au Chocolate/Pain au Raisin and bread, preserves and cheese together with hot drinks and juice. A particularly nice touch was a selection of chocolates in the bedroom. Would certainly recommend...

"The ability to stay in a 13th century castle, beautifully maintained by the family that's had the property for nearly 200 years was exceptional. Breakfast was a delight, with home-made crepes, an assortment of bread and croissants, home-made jams, and plenty of coffee. The calm was serene!"
