"A lovely retreat overlooking the Douro, only 11 bedrooms so it’s very quiet and relaxing. Everything about the property is perfect, clean, fabulous staff and a wonderful breakfast with loads of choices. Tucked away but a short and cheap Uber or Bolt ride into the city centre or to the beaches."

"We arrived at the property and noted to be warm and somewhat humid inside the unit. We noticed that the unit is not blowing cold air. The fan was working well though. We contacted the responsible party. He guided me to some setting changes but, it didn't change anything. The outside street air was much cooler than inside. We left the windows open. "Great staff, but NOT A FOUR STAR PROPERTY. This is a one-star airport hotel that felt like it was in a converted storage facility. The staff was very helpful and kind, and it was nice of them to prepare breakfast for us for our early flight, but the facility itself is falsely advertised as being four stars. Location was great but wouldn’t have stayed here if I’d known the actual condition of the property."

"Clean, comfortable, spacious and well maintained room. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good location. Close to shops , restaurants and bars. Train and bus was also easily accessible. The only issues was that it can get noisy at night, if you are a light sleeper, bring some earplugs and you’ll be fine."
