"The air conditioning and dehumidifier were mandatory for the rooms in Queens Court. Unfortunately, our a/c unit kept cycling on and off all night without stabilizing the room, which caused us to lose sleep. In fact, we did not get to sleep at all the first night and felt forced to vacate one day early. Since we had paid our two-day fee in advance, we have not been reimbursed for the second night even though the hotel staff notified us that they filed the 'faulty a/c complaint' as an acceptable...

"My family has stayed at nearly every hotel on Jekyll. Our current go-to is Hampton Inn. While it doesn’t have the ocean views other hotels have, I love the tree lined boardwalk. The pool is the best part of the hotel, it is shaded and heated year round. My most recent trip to the Hampton Inn was frustrating and disappointing. The desk is usually helpful and outgoing. This year, it was evident they were stress and under strain. When we visited in the spring, we learned about a new pool towel...

"We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman at the front desk. The suites are spacious with a full kitchen. The complementary breakfast was delicious."

"I’ve used Red Roof before and this time was a little different. I was assigned to a room that smelled awful! I went back to the front desk and told them I couldn’t stay in that room because of the smell. So, he asked if I had pets with me and I said no. I was transferred to a nicer room that was pleasant. Remember it isn’t the Taj Mahal🤗But nice for the price and with no frills. It is a safe place to stay👍"
