"The room was spacious and well appointed. There was not really a beach view from the room, unless you count a tiny sliver between buildings. Our room was on the second floor on the end closest to the lobby. Also, the picture showed a jacuzzi tube, but we only had stand up showers. The floors need to be better cleaned, as walking around without shoes on made the bottoms of our feet black. The restaurant was only open for dinner, and was not open on Sunday at all. "Stay away! Website is deceiving. This property states under construction but it should be torn down and rebuilt. Not worth saving. Filthy room, A/C did not work, stains on carpets, they painted the bathroom faucet black and it was peeling off and no continental breakfast but that was okay because we would not eaten it anyway. Even the man behind the counter was not pleasant. Complaining will not help this hotel. Just stay away!!"

"The staff was as amazing!! I gave it 3 stars because we found a piece of pretzel on the sofa bed between the mattress and the platform. That's the only thing, besides that the staff was super friendly and helpful, close to all everything on Jekyll, and walking to the beach is beautiful. Keep in mind walking to the beach is not wheelchair accessible. "
