"This property is all about the location. If you want a remote feeling near the ocean, it's fantastic for that. There really isn't anyone on the property to ask questions to (at least that we found). The rooms are not sound proof, so hopefully you're neighbor is quiet, but we could hear furniture being moved and footsteps. There is a small fridge in the room and an electric kettle, but no access to a kitchen or microwave. There's heat, but no A/C (which is normal for Iceland, but the windows...

"Conveniently located next to the geothermal area and geysers. cozy and quiet hotel with free coffee and tea 24/7 accessible. The staff was friendly and nice. The room was spacious and clean with a nice view of the geysers. We had a lovely one-night stay during our ring road trip. Recommended!"

"This is a beautiful tranquil property. We were so happy to arrive here after a wonderful day exploring waterfalls and driving. The hotel restaurant was restful and the food was delicious. We were sorry we didn’t have more time to spend in the area. Would love to return in the winter months. "

"Lovely cabin in a quiet and beautiful meadow. We had everything we needed. The property owners designed the small cabin with all the necessary for travelers needs. Small kitchenette to make some simple meals. Outdoor grill, table and chairs for two. A small sofa to rest, comfortable bed and beautiful floor to ceiling window to look out the meadow when the sheep’s come to visit. Great communication, easy directions and easy check in. We loved our stay! Thanks! "

"The Blue View Cabins offer a well thought out self-catering experience in an area which allows you to beat the tour groups to key sites on the Golden Circle. "This was a super cool place to stay... There is nothing like it around. Three sides of the building are 1-sided mirrors, so we had a 180 degree view from inside, but no one could see in. The 2-person hot tub was an added bonus. Very clean and located a little ways off the golden circle road. I would highly recommend for a very unique experience. "
