"Great hotel not far from LAX airport. Very clean but a little worn and dated. Think 1990. Rooms come with clean Japanese soaking tub and side shower. Mornings are a little loud due to adjacent bathroom water use but not enough to wake you. Japanese restaurant is at the lobby level so there is a heavy food smell when you arrive that you might not be expecting. The restaurant is good and convenient and has a full bar. I'll likely stay again but the daily rates are a bit high. Expect $290 a night, probably should be more like $180 or slightly less a night."

"When I first drove up to this hotel I was pretty dissapointed. The location is just kind of sad - right off the highway - trash and houseless folks. There is a super ugly chain link fence separating the hotel from the off ramp from the highway. Across the street is an ominous property that looks like it's about to be a data center. But overall I did enjoy my stay. The central courtyard with garden and pool offered a welcome retreat from the outer ugliness. And the rooms were comfortable, albeit in a lived-in kind of way. I don't know if I would chose this hotel again, but the value was good and overall it was pleasant. "

"Staff were not very observant of guests needs. Cleaning carts were left in middle of hallway to where no one could get by. Staff had to be located for needs at breakfast bar and lobby restrooms"

"Very enjoyable. Location is close to shopping center food and banks. The neighborhood is not bad but not great. The Cove is an oasis. The food can use alittle help besides that great."

"It is pet friendly but not entirely. My dog has difficulty with tile flooring. Only carpet in the halls. Which I do understand but it would have been easier. But also didn’t seem like bathroom was cleaned there was a dirty spot on counter and some kind of pink substance on bathroom door. Also never been to a hotel that didn’t have shampoo or conditioner but thankfully I did pack some."
