"Room was clean and cosy. Had to hunt a little for parking, and most places of interest required a drive. However, price was relatively low, and that allowed us to do several things we couldn't have budgeted from a higher priced hotel "

"Pleasantly surprised with quality and cleanliness of room based on exterior appearance but as we were told buildings are over 50 years old. Breakfast was good and staff member was helpful. Only issue was even with heat off, room was extremely warm and the bedside a/c was too noisy to run all night."

"I only booked for a 2 night stay. We had a huge suite with full kitchen and living room; on the 4th floor overlooking the front of the hotel. A huge private covered patio, 1.5 bathroom, king bed and lots of closet space. Shower pressure was excellent and soaker tub available too. Everything was very clean! Free parking at a gravel field about a 7 min walk from the resort."

"Location was decent. Close to China Town. No parking in the main lot, so parked in the Centennial square Parkade. Cheap and quick walk. Rooms were adequate, but nothing to write home about. Shower in the room took forever to get hot water. A good place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep. Clean and pretty quiet. "

"A delightful change from large hotel chains. Amazing staff including reception, breakfast, and housekeeping. Shocked at how great the included breakfast was every day. What a great upgrade from other hotel breakfasts. Great location within wobble distance to all of our favorite establishments. Missed having a gym but we walked a lot to make up for it. "

"Laundry room with irons etc was convenient. The staff were accommodating and pleasant. There was access to extra coffee tea from the guest kitchen to replenish our kitchen in the garden suite. There were no teaspoons (just 2 large spoons) & not much sugar or coffee in the suite so had to go on a scavenger hunt to the guest kitchen upstairs. If we were missing something we could usually find it in the guest kitchen. The large common area was right above our bedroom area &, being an old building,...

"You should provide free parking for guests. The supposed free outdoor parking was a crummy gravel lot that was far away. Absolutely nothing in the kitchen for cooking, we had to ask for dishes. They said they didn't provide toasters until I told them it was in the Expedia listing, then they did find one. Nice hotel but basic customer service."
