"Extremely comfortable stay on a lovely island; very friendly and welcoming."

"Expectations were high with a score of 9.2 but I was disappointed. Room a bit pokey, very odd matress & bedding, terrible shower. Decor throughout a bit tired. Residents bar very limited and nothing on draught. Breakfast was ok. On the plus side, staff were all very nice, location is quiet with a nice park opposite and there's enough parking. I'd stay again if in Girvan but can't say I'd look forward to it."

"Stayed over for one night passing through on a cycling trip. The host was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful storing and charging our bikes. Only open for B&B but fortunately the local tearoom opens on weekend evenings for meals. Well stocked community shop next door and community pub at the end of the street. Great village and area."

"Comfortable apartment overall well maintained. Parking good. Close to Turnberry hotel, 8-10 min walk. Kitchen appliances suited our needs. Heating worked well. Bathroom facilities worked for us. En-suite shower thermostat was temperamental. Visited Culzean, Turnberry hotel for spa and afternoon tea. Local pub/restaurants such as Souter’s, Wildings, Balkenna, Anchorage in Dunure, Saffy’s and Wellingtons in Ayr. Coop in Maybole and Asda in Girvan useful for provisions. "The most beautiful and most unique property to explore this part of the country. Margaret and Malcolm, as always, were so welcoming and provide top class accommodation with the most stunning views. Tiffy, our dog, was made most welcome with a lovely bed and treat bag. Such a safe and protected space for her. Will definitely be back for our third visit! "
