"To start, I’ll say that this is an objectively nice place to stay. There are great views of the sea and the rooms are big. The bed is very comfy. However, there were a number of important details missing, especially for the price. The shower in my room had a wooden floor. This clearly never dries and made the room smell horrible. It also felt quite unhygienic. The same issue existed near the pools - the wooden flooring is slightly warped and rotten, which is a bit of a hazard. The sauna didn’t...

"This guest house is fabulous! They were most welcoming. The property was beautifully landscaped with palm trees, pool and hot tub. Rooms were clean with all amenities provided. Breakfast was terrific. Don't hesitate to book this one."

"Great location, parking attached. Quick drive into Ponta Delgada, public parking is very inexpensive. Staff was very nice and responsive, easy access to beach. Breakfast is included, generous portions, great breads and fresh fruit. Shower does not drain very well, and the pool is very small. Hot tub is not very full and lukewarm temperature."

Arrived early and we were accommodated with a ready room, and shuttle arranged to take us very efficiently to the airport day of our departure (only a 10-15 min drive away). Staff very professional - even down to tour of the included breakfast, which included hot food options and a beautiful spread of options. Would recommend!"
