We do host the Monday Night Party here on Gili Trawangan and yes sometimes our can guests can hear the music depending on the location of their room. All the other nights of the week it is a calm and quiet atmosphere in the restaurant and calm. We hope to welcome you back in the future when you will be in the area.

Good morning Thank you for your review and apologies for the late response. I am really surprised by your review in regards to the staff stealing from your room . Why did you not bring this to our attention when this happened in order for us to investigate this further? The staff here in Blue Marlin have been a part of our family for many many years and we never receive any complaints about them. They are honest , hard working people and we take these things very seriously as we have a strict policy here as we value our customers and Blue Marlin has a big reputation. I am very sorry for the experience that you had here but unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this now as it was not highlighted to us at the time. Thank you again.

Good morning Sorry for the late reply and thank you vey much for taking the time to give us a review. In relation to your complaints , I would like to talk about the 3% surcharge and explain why this charge applies. I would also like to advise you that this is the first complaint I have ever received about this charge before. All of our card machines here are Mandiri card machines and it is not us that charges the fee , it is the bank itself. The bank charges a transaction fee on every transaction. We are not the only business that charge this fee. As for the shower, I have spoken with all of the staff and they said nobody brought any complaint to their attention ? If you did and nothing was done about it , I would have been very surprised, as our staff are wonderful and are on site at all times if problems like these occur. I am very sorry that you did not sleep well during your stay here. I find it very strange to hear that there was hard music playing in our hotel every night until 3:00am. If this was the case , every guest would have brought this to our attention. We have one night here in Blue Marlin, which is Monday night and is our famous party night and has been for the last 27 years. This is highlighted on our website and when you arrive to check in , we have signs about it and we even provide ear plugs for those who do not wish to participate . We are not only very proud of our party but of our dive shop and resort itself. I am sorry you did not know about the party before your arrival. once again, I would like to apologise that you did not enjoy your stay with us.
