One of Gili Air's Best Places to Stay

I really enjoyed my stay at Ombak Paradise. The location is excellent and the staff professional. A couple of highlights of this property would be the massive swimming pool as well as the beach area.

Godt hotel, meget turistet ø

Alt i alt et godt ophold. Vi boede på hotellet i næsten en uge, og det var nok lidt for lang tid for os - men det havde mere med øens muligheder at gøre, end hotellet. Øen er fuldstændig overrendt af turister, dog er priserne på mad osv. stadig OK rimelige. Hotellet var kæmpestort og har øens største pool. Den var super og virkede ren. Der var alle slags dybder og meget anbefalelsesværdig. Værelset var stort med både dobbeltseng og sovesofa. Badeværelset indendørs og også meget stort. En dag oplevede vi dog, at der ikke var noget vand. Det tog dem rigtig lang tid at fikse, og var ret irriterende, men det kan jo ske. Man skal vænne sig til korte og længerevarende strømafbrydelser på hele øen, disse mærkede man dog ikke noget til på hotellet, så det var super godt! Hotellet ligger på stranden og i gåafstand fra havnen, hvor det meste liv også er, så det er godt. Om aftenen vises der film på stranden i fatboy liggestole, hvilket er virkelig hyggeligt. Morgenmaden er buffet med et stort udvalg.

Clean & comfortable room and bed, spacious shower with good water pressure. Wonderful pool - the best pool ever! Very accommodating staff, so helpful. I hope everyone is doing ok after the 5 Aug earthquake. And for the hotel to be back in shape to receive future customers and rebuild the tourism industry at Gili Air. Much love from us.

Beautiful place to be

This is the largest hotel om Gili Air. It’s near the harbor, you can walk to the hotel. The rooms are very nice: clean and spacious. There is a huge swimming pool. At the seaside the hotel has a private beach. You can have dinner at the beach. There is a great choice for breakfast.

Vi havde booket fem nætter men valgte at forlænge med yderligere fire nætter. Virkelig dejligt hotel, lækker pool. Ti minutters gang fra havnen, 15 minutter gang fra en fabelagtig snorkelstrand. Smuk beliggenhed med udsigt til vandet restauranten. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Just dont go.

Hated it, huge monster in the middle of a small island, they tell me it is new but it looked like it was built in the costa del sol in 1975 because the wear and tear on this thing is horrible. Cracks in the walls and floor, grouting falling off, paint job like it was done by a 3 year old, I honestly dont know how this hotel can call itself a hotel, should be a home stay catagoury. Nice pool but that is about it. Stay away.

Super lovely and attentive staff. The room was nice and spacious and the property is right across from the beach which was lovely. Gorgeous sunset right around the corner. The sink in our bathroom wouldn't drain at all our second day there (surely an easy fix) and the bathroom had an overall funky smell. The internet was almost impossibly slow, but if you're here to disconnect, it shouldn't be an issue. Breakfast had lots of options, local and Western, as well as an omelette station.

Отличное место на Гили Эйр

Наверное лучший отель на всем острове(Гили Эйр). Отель не новый, но с очень хорошим ремонтом и сервисом. На территории отличный бассейн, длинной около 50 -60 метров, с отдельной зоной до 3х метров в глубину. Есть бар в бассейне. Очень чистая и зеленая территория. Качественная уборка номера. Из минусов: wi-fi ловит только у бассейна и на ресепшене, в номерах почти не работает. Шикарный завтрак с большим выбором блюд. Каждый вечер на пляже развлекательная программа и делают барбекю. В баре при отеле неплохие коктейли. Рядом с отелем есть банкомат, в котором принимают российские карты. При отеле есть прокат велосипедов. От порта идти 500 метров. На всем острове очень тихо и спокойно. При заселении предоставили номер классом выше, чем мы бронировали. Огромное спасибо всему персоналу отеля за отличный отдых! Не хотелось уезжать!

Great hotel, could make a few improvements

Overall we found our stay at this hotel very pleasant. The best thing about it is the staff. They are curtious, polite and go above and beyond to serve you. In particular one chap behind the pool bar named Mady was exceptional. The room was a very good size and had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic and right outside our door. My two main criticisms are that the hotel claims to be ‘environmentally friendly’ and preserving the future of the island, however, when asked where we could fill our water bottles up (we would have been happy to pay) rather than buy new plastic bottles they couldn’t help. I think the hotel should offer this for a greener environment and to be true to their promise. Secondly, the WiFi was absolutely awful which is to be fair, expected of a hotel on such a small island. The only place we could get a connection was the main lobby, not great when you’re relying on WiFi for work etc. The staff did attempt to resolve this for us by putting a booster in our room but it made no difference. However, it may be a WiFi free hotel you are looking for for total relaxation, if it is- this place is perfect.

SENSATIONAL Resort!

We loved Ombak Paradise so much that we extended our holiday at the resort for an extra week. We loved everything about Ombak Paradise! The staff are wonderfully kind and helpful. The rooms are huge, clean and lovely. The 100m pool is sensational. The resorts location on the beautiful, white beach is amazing. The cooked breakfast and the view at breakfast is fabulous!!!

Super fint hotel , med stor dejlig pool , vandet ligger lige på den anden side men mange koraler så svært at bade pga lavt vand.Morgenmad okay , deluxe værelser er næsten for store. Boede 6dage her og vil helt sikkert bo her igen
