Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tilton - Lakes Region by IHG
6/10 Okay
"I stayed in room 310, the room was comfortable and the room seemed to be cleaned. That is until we decided to turn in for the night. It was rather late, and when I turned down the comforter on the first bed on the right, there was what seemed to be spots of blood on the sheets. I did not sleep in the bed. I spoke with a pleasant female at the front desk in the morning regarding the sheets, and I not sleeping in such bed, and suggested she make sure that the sheets were changed upon our departure."
"The room smelt like cigarettes. The tub didn’t drain. There was a black ring on the floor around the toilet. Ceiling fan was broke. Ants in the room. Walls were separating. Bathroom door didn’t shut. Floor was not cleaned. Ac blew out a bunch of dust when we turned it on."
"Let’s start with the bed and the bathroom .the best and only good points of this trip/ Stay at winnisqwarm inn. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was ample spaced and loved the handicap shower. That was it check-in took a long time (35 min). And then was asked after 35 minutes to come back because he doesn’t have the paperwork he needed me to sign. He gives us the keys and we go into the room. It smells like wet dog. We had a concert to go there that night, so my wife decided to jump into the shower to get ready. The towels / facecloths were so stained.and dirty I grabbed them and brought them to the front desk where he informed me that they really weren’t dirty. They were just stained from his dryer. Put it this way I would never give somebody staying at my house a towel or face cloth that look like that at some point you have to throw them away and buy new ones. I’ve seen cleaner towels in a homeless shelter.. online they describe this beautiful place right on the water with its own private beach balconies. None of that is true. There’s a sign when you get there from the people who actually own the beach asking hotel residence not to go there to respect their privacy. They do not want us there. It is not the hotel beach. The pictures in the website show balconies is right on the water, but in fact this hotel is not on the lake at all. None of the staff speak English. And very limited time at the desk. When there was a problem at three in the morning. No help "
"1 women checking people in at check in time ! Elevator not working ! Ac not working. Room had odor. Did not supply enough towels for the amount of people in room and no face clothes !
Requested a lower floor prior to check in. And at check in said we are full !! Didn’t believe it .
