"We were welcomed by the helpful couple at reception and showed to our rooms early. The rooms where nice and clean with a comfortable bed. We had a coffee maker in the room which was really nice. The rooms are small but comfortable. The reception gave us some good suggestions where to go for dinner. Everything was close by and within walking distance We had a nice breakfast at the hotel too with many delicious choices.. I can highly recommend this property"

"We had a wonderful stay at Astoria and would definitely come back. The hotel was always very clean, and the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was modern, comfortable and the bed was large enough for both of us. The air conditioning was excellent and definitely saved us during the hot days. "Everything about this property says luxury and quiet indulgence. Set away from the town by a lovely 5-10 minute walk, it’s away from the crowds and noise of beach taverna but still well and easily within reach. There is a supermarket across the street, two bakeries 1 minute walk away, and plenty more a 5-10 minute easy and lovely walk. The beach is across the street maybe a 3-5 minute leisurely walk. It is on the main road so sitting outside you can hear traffic, though inside you hear nothing....

"On a positive note, the view is stunning. On a less positive note, the rooms are way smaller than advertised (7 by 3.5m is 24.5 SQM max vs advertised at 30 SQM for a suite junior). Not sure how they can get away with that. Room decorations are really basic but much better than the corridor (purple !) The hotel is currently under renovation but the sound proofing has not been considered. You can hear the TV of the neighbors, the doors being slammed etc. I clearly don't recommend it."
