"My experience was okay. Morning of, they approved my request for early check in (I requested it days beforehand) but we were already on our way so we were not able to take advantage (still was charged for it). When we got there the valet guys were just standing out side but we were not helped with our bags lol I was checking in and I see my partner making multiple trips to bring our bags in (eventually he found a bag cart and loaded them on there). At check in, I was charged the full price of the room + incidentals, even though the room has already been paid for. The girl who checked me in said nothing, after she charged my card she just handed me room keys. When I noticed the charged I messaged them thinking it’s an error, they tried to say the charge was valid and they would email me a receipt, which they did not (I went to the desk the next day and they apologized and said it was an error). Outside of that, our stay was very nice. The room was very pretty and had a great view and balcony. We got couples massages at their spa (FYI it’s not a real spa, it’s an empty hotel room with massage beds.. which was a little off putting (due to the price) but they did a good job). We were also approved for late check out but opted to check out early (still was charged for it). We loaded our bags back into our car and left. I like good customer service so I likely will not be back, but the property/room is beautiful."

"Good location. Nice bar area. Entrance with drop off hidden by construction sign. Unfortunately, a hotel that only provides 3 towels for 4 guests. Even more inconvenient because our family was out late and by the time it was the fourth family member’s turn to take a shower, it was 11:00pm and the front desk asked us to come down to the lobby to get a towel. Inconvenient. "

"The staff were amazing, location fantastic and walkable to everything. However, absolutely not the cleanest and most updated hotel. She’s got some clear wear and tear and needs a damn good cleaning! "

"As expected Hilton Gardens. Clean, refreshed/ modern room. Staff, valet and bartender((Max) all super friendly and engaging. Typical Hilton breakfast but not included (recent change) in stay. À la carte Prices for lowgade breakfast unreasonable. Go to Rhett’s for a quality breakfast. "

"We booked this hotel based on advertised amenities—restaurant, cocktail lounge, and downtown shuttle—but the reality fell far short. The “cocktail lounge” opens at 4 p.m., but only if the bartender shows up on time, which was inconsistent. There is no actual restaurant; instead, they offer delivery for an extra fee. Breakfast is overpriced and no better than a standard free hotel breakfast, though the attendants were excellent. The shuttle service is extremely limited, running only from 2–10 p.m. if the driver is available, and only to a few locations within about a mile. The driver also serves as maintenance, so shuttle service clearly isn’t a priority. Customer service was disappointing. Most requests were met with “we don’t do that” or “there’s nothing we can do,” with little effort to assist or offer solutions. Attempts to contact the hotel prior to arrival went unanswered, and requests made during booking were not in their system. Staff blamed a possible system outage with no follow-up. While the property itself is nice and the rooms are comfortable, the lack of accurate information and poor service make it hard to recommend."
