Need 200% of improvement!
Give us 4th floor, climb up all the way, no lift provided. First room aircon have bad socks smell, technician feedback it's he paint smell, this meaning their aircon is function with paint. Second room like a sauna. Third room ok but not clean. If you want to have a very bad experience recommend stay here.

Accommodation conditions is ok! But no lift service on the day of arrival, and astro not available on the time maybe due to pandemic, cash flow affected. Oh! Remember mid night time the front door will be closed, i went back around 1am, but can call the personnel to open the door, felt bad disturb people's sleep...

Good Hotel with lift :)
The hotel have lift. I like it so much. Got rooftoop so I can chill there. Provide breakfast. Nearby attraction just by walk. Very convenient. I'm gonna recommend this hotel to other. Definitely will repeat staying here.

Location is very good. In Georgetown. WiFi is only available on lobby. You are not allow to eat in the room or you will be fine.

Nice comfortable bed
Very comfortable bed. Love it. The only setback was a WiFi. You can’t use it in the bedroom, but when you try to use it in the lobby area, it is virtually no speed at all. Please improve on that. It’s very important.

Ok for a night
Standard room very small, dark room with no window, found cotton bud and empty face mask packed under bed otherwise clean. No healthy options at breakfast and watched like a hawk by staff. Rubbish WiFi!

Great location, just one block away from the famous teochew cendol. Many local street food nearby. Komtar and shopping malls are only few minutes walking distance away. The dorm room is very comfortable. 2 out 3 water heater is not functional in the public washroom, this is the only bad comment from me. The breakfast served is very simple, and it is cold. Hotel staff should do something to keep the breakfast warm.

thank you . We will check on the water heater. As for the cold breakfast that you mentioned , the food are placed on a functioning electric hot warmer and if it is cold there is a micro wave for use to keep the food hot. There is a toaster to toast the bread. roti canai and curry chicken ion the warmer. Even the roti canai on the warmer was heated until it turn to crust.

Never stay here.
We went for location & that’s the only good thing about Apollo Inn. The staff were unhappy & unhelpful. Three lights were either not going or flashed all night in our room after being turned off. Wifi did not work. We had trouble getting the hot water to stay hot. At midnight we finally had maintenance to disengage the flashing bulbs. When I asked for money back or discount they were absolutely disinterested & couldn’t care less. Very grateful we only booked one night. Never stay there!!

Sorry for the inconvenience as you mentioned. You have slept the night and had your breakfast and you enjoy the stay until almost time to check out and requested for a refund due to one ceiling blinking lights not working. If you are not satisfied you should have asked for a refund immediately instead of the next day demanding a refund or a bad review. We obliged all the time for fear of bad review but it keeps happening and we feel it is time to stop opportunist. Our housekeeping came and disconnect the blinking bulbs but all the other lights are functioning. The hot shower, the lights,the air conditioning are all functioning.

Its okay.. For chinese it is convenience to stay here because near the hotel you can find alot of food.. For muslim kind a walk a lil bit to get food.. All interesting place is a walking distance.. The rooftop a bit messy but peacefull.. You can hear others talking inside the room.. So its not suitable for privacy and honeymooners.. The staff kind of stiff.. Not helping so much but hey maybe they feel tired.. Who knows right.. The bed its okay and the bathroom i got a lil bit problem because the shower hose was loose.. Water are slow.. So thats its.. Overal just okay

Thank you for staying here very much appreciated. Our place are like by many muslim and finding food to them is not an issue. Just a few minutes walk to muslim food or nasi kandar food.Many times i find the guest are too shy to approach the staff for assistance and they blame the staff for whatever reasons.

My flight got cancel because of Mount Sinabung eruption last June 2018. Mr.Alan didn't charge me any fee for cancelling airport transfer. My room got cancel because of 3rd agent website system. Mr.Alan did his best by booking rooms at nearby hotel and allow us to have a breakfast at Apollo Inn. The next day when we checked in at Apollo Inn, Mr.Alan give us the biggest room at Apollo Inn. Thank You Mr.Alan.

Easy and fast check-in, provided with breakfast. Well maintain and clean place. Quiet atmosphere and able to make friend with new people at mixed dorm. Over all, good and nice experience as backpacker.

BED BUG
There are so many bed bug in my room. I cant sleep whole night, no receptionist in the middle of the night. Once staff arrive at 6.30am,there are no solution for me.just change my room, without any sorry compliment.unprofesional female receptionist and being rude. asked for extend a few hours for my sleep or refund my money just because I cant event get rest in the room. I am pregnant.I need a rest. Not event an extra half and hour,need to check out on time.

A disappointingly stay
The room we had was extra small. A bed room with a glass divider as toilet shower room. No wardrobe. A flat screen TV with very limited channels. BBC world news was available though. Two main gripes we had. They insisted on cash as payment for local tax and deposit. The Wi-fi during our stay was non existent except at the foyer. The site of the hotel was excellent as it was next to city centre with all eateries and shops abound.

recommended hotel to stay in Georgetown
good breakfast and tea time, drinking water is available inside the room and at the lobby: as we travel as a family of 4 includes 2 toddler: we fill our water bottle with it.

Nice hotel near Komtar
Good hotel with many food and attraction within walking distance. Room is good although small but equipped with all the basics. Hotel provide complimentary water. Water filter and lift is a plus. Free breakfast and tea time. The downside is the street only have one lane for traffic and both side with parking lots, inconvenient to load and unload luggage.

Beware of room
Penang just finished the flood so the lift is not working, we had to climb the stairs every day. Breakfast buffet variety is good but the food is cold. The staffs are pretty friendly. Wifi so so. Overall, not bad except for the bed. There is bed bugs. At first, I thought is mosquito bites but after seeing the doctor, he told me is bed bug bites.... I am staying in room 101. Hopefully, the management can arrange pest control to clean up.

Very clean. Spacious. Staff are very nice. One night there is no hot water, and they ask us to either move to a similar room or take hot shower in the other room. Breakfast was excellent. A wide variety of items and very delicious. Thank you Apollo for making our stay very pleasant and enjoyable .

Good budget hotel
Really nice hotel with great service but it should be made clearer that the rooms don't all have windows, felt a little claustrophobic after a few day. Breakfast is good and daily housekeeping, wifi was slow during peak times. Rooftop is great, bring your own drink.

Convenient, Nice, Clean Hotel
Very helpful receptionist (Recommended some places to eat, helped with printing some document, even though wifi was not strong but the receptionist tried reset the modem and it was a bit better after that). Room was clean(bed was comfortable, toilet was clean, no stains in the toilet). I had a perfect stay. One setback is the wifi. The connection is not strong in the room. If you have to download or work you need to be in reception area. Other than that everything was good. Thank you Terry(receptionist) for your extraordinary service.
