"A gorgeous place to stay. We loved our time at Aquila and felt so relaxed and refreshed being there. The room was clean and cosy, especially with the fire on. The amenities were fantastic and the bottle of bubbly readily enjoyed! We both found the bed to be comfortable and had a real quality night's sleep. Couldn't fault it, thank you for having us! "

"Had an amazing stay. I stayed in the Garden Cottage and it was beautiful. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and they supplied plenty of wood for the open fire. An added bonus was breakfast supplies in the fridge including bacon and eggs and the bread they had was delicious as well. The grounds were quiet and it was an easy walk to both lower and upper Olinda. Lots of cafes and hiking spots close by as well. I’ll definitely be staying here for my next getaway. "

"Lovely receptionist, the room and hotel were neat and tidy. It has its own pool and little gym downstairs. You can head out to dinner, or like us go to the local IGA in Olinda and bring your food back to enjoy on the hotel grounds. The location is absolutely beautiful and a perfect place to spend a night or two for those who, like my family and I, love to be in a secluded spot surrounded by nature. "Some of the old reviews had made us nervous about this place, but we were pleasantly surprised. The motel room had been "refreshed" and was clean with a good shower and comfortable bed. Good budget accommodation in a great location for shops and transport, but back from the highway, so quite and secure."

"Property still has the original charm, but the overall maintenance of the vineyard was poor. Change of management since the retirement of the original owners. The vines are dead, the lotus in the pond were all dead and the greens around the verendah were overgrown."
