"Really enjoyed our stay at Tontine. Very well located for getting around Greenock and travelling to Glasgow and other surrounding towns. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and rooms were clean and comfortable. There were quite a few parties over the weekend in the event room but we didn’t hear anything when we went back to our rooms. Nice and quiet. Would recommend. "

"Stayed here for 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The executive room was lovely and had a river view. The only downside of that was when the spa opened you could hear voices outside, especially when the spa opens early in the morning. The shower was great and bed really comfy. Breakfast in the hotel was good. They do continental help yourself and order the hot food and tea/coffee. The first morning we did wait quite a long time to order and noticed others who came in after us ordered and...

Room was well equiped with tea, coffee, biscuits etc. At midnight we couldn’t get to sleep in room 5 as a dog was constantly barking in the kennels at the Police office outside our room. Colin at reception immediately moved my wife and I to the opposite side of the hotel and all was well. Hotel was clean, warm and tidy and we enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning which there was plenty to choose from. I would certainly recommend it as it is...

"Fantastic hotel which has clearly had a lot of work done in recent times. I was greeted warmly by Ricky and checked in to Room 2, which was massive - and simply perfect for my (5 stone) greyhound, as he had space to move. The Royal Marine is one of 2 dog friendly hotels in the area, and as you can see, His Lordship was made ever so welcome and he slept like a log, as did I! I brought his own bed, however my bed was super comfy and cosy. There was a tv, a (clean!) kettle with tea & coffee and...
