Nice location

We had a very nice double room for one night. The hostel is quiet and in a good neighborhood, between the transportation and the tourist sites. Monika was most helpful.

Just ok.

Location is great, very near the train station and walking distance to places of interest in Gdansk. Service was great, no problem with check in/out. Free bfast was simple but good enough. 2 bathrooms for everyone to share were not enough and it gets untidy as well. Bed was not comfortable, suggest to change already. Both my husband and I had bed bug bites.

Mahtava paikka!!!

Loistava paikka! Ulkokuori ei kerro mitä sisällä odottaa! Todella siisti paikka. Henkilökunta mahtavaa ja erittäin avuliasta! Auttavat niin arkikysymyksissä kuin matkavinkeissä! Katseltiin illan tullen jopa elokuvaa jonka henkilökunta laittoi päälle! Hyvä sijainti ja löytää helposti. Mitään ongelmia ei ollut ja yöpyminen sujui hyvin. Niin loistava paikka että yövymme varmasti uudelleenkin!

Hinta-laatusuhde kohdillaan

Hostellin sijainti oli hyvä ja sopivan keskeinen. Myös lentoasemalta pääsi hyvin bussilla 210 kohteeseen. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja hyvin saatavilla hostellilla. Hostellin yleinen siisteystaso oli hyvä ja esimerkiksi keittiön varustetaso riittävä, vaikkei erityinen. Hostellissa on kaksi erillistä wc:tä, joissa molemmissa on suihkut. Toisinaan vessakäyntiä sai odotella, kun molemmat wc-suihkutilat olivat käytössä. Valitettavasti erillistä pelkkää vessaa ei hostellista löytynyt. Hostellin tilat olivat kylmät, erityisesti lattiat. Kenkien käyttö oli kiellettyä, mutta hostelli tarjosi käyttöön läpykkäitä. Yövyimme ystävän kanssa kahden hengen huoneessa, jossa sängyt olivat heikkotasoiset; sängyn jousitukset tuntuivat selkeästi läpi. Lisäksi huoneeseen kantautui tupakansavua useampana eri päivänä. Joinakin öinä hostellivieraat hengailivat yhteisessä olohuoneesse myöhään pitäen mekkalaa, joka häiritsi yörauhaa sillä olohuoneen äänet kuuluivat selkeästi huoneisiin. Hostellissa oli tarjolla ilmaiseksi korvatulppia, jotka tosin eivät olleet riittäviä.

Leider nur Instantkaffee & Tee, kein „Frühstück“! 2 Toiletten in den Duschen sind definitiv zu wenig, wenn der eine Teil duscht und das Bedürfnis zu groß wird. Durch die Küche geht’s per Schiebetür in die Dusche! Sehr hellhörig. Sehr zentral - gut vom Bahnhof zu erreichen. Ohne Schuhe ist es sauber und gemütlich. Leider keine deutschsprachige Besucher zu meiner Zeit...

The hostel is nice, cozy and clean. The level of comfort is rather basic and the walls are quite thin, so you can here everything that is going on (it helps that they provide free ear plugs). The staff is friendly and helpful and you have tea, coffee and breakfast cereals available for free. Location is really good!

Won't go to a hostel again.

It's the first time i sleep at a hostel. Small room, cold and had to share bathrooms and it's very noisy. But looks nice and is near the city.

My stay with Midtown Hostel was wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the hostel was super clean, and the beds were nice and comfortable. Parking (and entrance) in the courtyard in the back was super easy, and the location was very good too. Less than a 5 minute walk from many of the major sites, including Gdańsk Old Town, the Gdańsk Forum, and several of the monuments and museums. Highly recommend.

Really Central

It would help if this hostel had staff at night. A group of 14 on stag trip arrived really intoxicated and felt quite threatened in what should be a safe space. I was really shocked staff left guests when they knew how loud and intoxicated the new guests where. Staff very nice but not a safe space. it is very hard to enforce guidelines such as no smoking if staff are not present. I feel there should have been some refund for the situation.

- die Möbel/Betten könnten moderner/neuer sein - manche Utensilien und Möbel mit Abnutzungserscheinungen - um in das Hostel zu gelangen, muss man komplett ums Haus gehen.. gewöhnungsbedürftig - abends nicht komplett leise... die Stadt ist im August sehr lebendig - keine Klimaanlage in den Schlafräumen - perfekte Lage - sehr nette und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption - das Hostel ist sehr sauber.. durchgehend wird darauf geachtet - die Küche und das Wohnzimmer bieten gute Ausstattung - WLAN funkioniert an sich sehr gut (im hinteren Zimmer leider sehr schwacher Empfang!)
