"The room was tidy and clean, we were welcomed by the staff who made sure we had our keys left for us with security, after the reception closed, which was a nice touch. Generally a pleasant stay, the room we booked had a foldable sofa bed, which was firm, but not at all uncomfortable. In terms of the surrounding area it’s quiet, mixed business and residential area, with good...

"Imagine flying to the town where you have your accommodation booked and paid to learn upon arrival that there is a couple bucks fee that you need to pay in order to get checked in (nowhere else in Gdansk i was asked to pay this fee), and there is no reception at the apartment - it's on the other side of the city where you might have to go to pay it, or their online option which is barely working, while the host replies to your messages once every 20-30 min. None of host's "emergency" phone...

"Check-in did not work as described in the information. A message was supposed to come 30 minutes before 3:00 but it came after we arrived and there was a reception in the house who knew nothing about the apartment and according to other residents in the house the rental was illegal.
When we finally got into the apartment it turned out that it was not clean and we had to start cleaning. The balcony windows were very dirty and there was a large advertising sign that disturbed the view.
The water...
