A great place to stay

This was our second time staying at the hotel and it did not disappoint. The service is excellent, and the rooms were great. Everything was great and I just don't have anything bad to say about it.

Super hotel in Superb location.

I will highly recommend this hotel on my travel blog. The staff, accommodation, location and breakfast was excellent. Right beside both the Havas office for connections to the airport and across from the GaziTram stop. I could walk to the main shopping plaza, both museums, castle and train station.

Good, fairly standard hotel. Clean, functional, helpful staff. The only thing I didn't like was the constant loud noise of the airco, unfortunately the only way - as often is the case in hotels - to heat in winter.

Clean, comfortable and big rooms

I had a really lovely stay at the Hampton. Everything was really clean, and the rooms were a great size for the price. The breakfast was a really nice spread in the morning, a mixture of Turkish and pastries. The staff were all so friendly, helpful and patient with me, as I didn’t speak Turkish, and as we communicated through a translate app (that said, there were a Number who spoke great English as well. There is a free car park in basement, in case you rent a car. The hotel is very centrally located, and a short walk to some of the tourist attractions (bazaar, castle etc).

Excellent location, terrible service

We had issues at check-in where staff were abrupt to the point of being rude, and extremely unhelpful. I had to literally drag all our luggage up a ramp into the building whilst carrying my daughter. The room was dusty and there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke on the floor which seeped into the room. I raised some of these issues with the manager Khedir who was actually very nice and helpful. He sent a fruit platter to apologise, which we appreciated. However, that very same day we came back to a room where they had not left a single towel. On checkout again, I was offered no help with moving my luggage down onto the street to be loaded into a taxi. The location of this hotel is however excellent. That tram stop is literally across the road, or you could take a leisurely stroll down to the old city.

Reception is confused. It look 4 people to check me in. They're incompetent to say the least. Noone speaks English. Thıs is one hotel that I will definitely not use again. I was lucky to have enough Turkish liras, so I could pay for my stay.

For us it was a nice place as presented with a market about 200 my away. Room was large with most expected facilities. Good breakfast, free. No dining but plenty of places around. More desk staff with better English could help but Koray was great at helping us solve a Teck issue.
