"The central forced-air heating had been turned off throughout the hotel after a recent heat wave. When we checked in it was 13°C outside and the room heat would not turn on. The Duty manager was unable to turn it on after five phone call attempts, requiring 20 mins wait each, allthis lasted until past 2AM, and waked-up by this manager calling to see if it was working yet. It was not, it was blowing colder air in to our room. He tried to move us to another room and same issue there, after 30mins...

"Oh my Goodness where do I start! Jon, Nick, Laura and the lovely woman who cooked my breakfast were all so helpful and accommodating! Its such a beautiful Bed & Breakfast, with a quiet and relaxing back patio to enjoy with your free beverages, and a lounge area too. My room was so comfortable. "The reception staff weren't overly friendly. Also I booked a table at the restaurant months ago for 5pm (I have a little one who normally eats at 4.30pm) to be told the restaurant doesn't even open until 5.30pm and they didn't have my booking. But we did get a table at 5.30. The food was poor, as was the service. The actual hotel room was fine. I thought the bathroom was grubby but it was actually just ring marks and staining in the bathroom. The pillows were way too soft and pushed down flat...
