"What a splendid break !!! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our mini-break at the Tower. Very quiet & remote which was exactly what we were looking for. "The hotel is in a superb location and the gardens are beautiful. We enjoyed delicious evening meals in the bar and breakfast was good with great views if you managed to get a table in the conservatory. The room was fine with a comfy bed and fabulous Mountain View’s a good selection of tea/coffee. The bathroom was disappointing though, there were rust marks on the wall and bath from the handrail over the bath and the towel rail was very close to the toilet so I think if it had been on you may burn yourself. This would not deter us from staying again but it does make the room appear in need of improvement."
