"We had a lovely stay for one night during our garden route trip. The view from our balcony was insane and the room was spacious for us three. Staff were very helpful, particularly the staff member who helped us with our bags up the stairs due to no lift and the staff member who let us use the pool table when the bar was closed."

"We had bats living in our roof, apparently knowingly by the owner (they built a house for them on the near cabin and they migrated to ours). We had to go to bed and sleep with constraint scratching and sliding noises, that was terrible. When we brought it to the attention of the team, they didn’t even bother apologising. "This was a great hotel to land for a couple nights in Plettenberg. The staff was delightful especially upon our arrival we were a bit frazzled from a long drive and Kima greeted us to help us Park and get our bags to our room. The in Hotel restaurant is excellent, we ate the oxtail and the breakfast is fabulous. Two doors away is a place called 11 that we rented bikes from.
