"Galway is a large city. The hotel is down a small alley, not one you can drive down and drop off your bags. I had messaged the property about parking but had no idea where to go. A little directions would have been helpful. I double parked on the road to drop off my bags, visiting from the states, I was in a panic as to where to go. "The location is ideal to take the 9:00 am bus to Rossaveel then a ferry to the Aran Islands. The train station to Dublin is a walking distance, too. The hotel is safe for solo travelers. I used the room card to open two doors before I reached my room. Strong fire safe doors are also noticeable. The lobby has plenty of lounging areas with phone chargers and a game room."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Woodquay Townhouse in Galway. It was very clean, updated and cozy. The staffless checkin went very smoothly. We were given clear concise directions prior to arrival on how to get into the property and then once inside we were able to follow the touchscreen directions on how to get our key.
