"Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im The Sun House. Das Personal ist liebenswürdig und herzlich. Das geschichtsträchtige Haus wurde aufwändig renoviert und hat ganz viel Flair. Die Räume sind liebevoll dekoriert und alles ist sehr stimmungsvoll. In dieser ruhigen Anlage kann man wunderbar ausspannen und ist in 10-15 min zu Fuß in der Altstadt. Wir konnten direkt von unserem Balkon aus Affen und einen Falken beobachten. "

"Dette hotel er noget helt specielt. Vi havde et værelse på 3 sal med egen terrasse. Vi havde et alle tiders kæmpe tre lige uden foran og om morgenen, da vi skulle spise morgenmad, var aberne meget interesserede. Det var en morgenmad, som var inklusiv i opholdet, men det blev bragt til værelset til aftalt tid og man kunne komme med ønsker om preferencer. Tillige fik vi en mygge skåner. Vi havde brug for transport og stedet havde en mand ansat, der gerne kørte os til adskillige oplevelser og endda...

Service from all the hotel staff was wonderful from the moment we arrived, and they went above and beyond from giving us a takeaway breakfast on our last day when we left early, as well as helping with our hired tuktuk! Hotel is further out of Galle Fort (about a 10min tuktuk drive/25 min walk), but setting of buildings onsite is lovely, centred around the main pool and communal outside area. "The Bartizan's rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom was gorgeous. The breakfast was generous, and we were given a packed breakfast on the day we left early. The staff were very attentive. It is located on the coast and walkable to loads of shops and restaurants. It was our favourite hotel in the two weeks we spent in Sri Lanka. "

"Courteous staff, a quiet, comfortable room and super catering in a superbly fitted out property made this a fantastic stay! Okay, so someone had stolen the TV (joking; there isn’t one in the room, but there is fast, free wifi), but if you want to be in the centre of the Galle Fort action, I reckon few properties can beat this one!"

"So nice stay. Everybody has to try to eat dinner there. The shef was excellent and the manager was so gentle. He played nice music for us every night and we where the only guests. We had dinner there all three nights!!!!! "

"Yara Galle Fort is a lovely boutique hotel in a good position for walking around the town. The bed was comfortable and it was lovely to have a fridge and toiletries provided. The Sri Lankan breakfast was the best we have had here and the staff were very helpful. "
