"An incredible spot. We chose to leave the car in town and enjoyed the gondola up. If you stay a night it should be half price.
The views were amazing and the gondola stops at the property.
Probably the most scenic accommodation ever.
Also good food and drink and nice staff.

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Engel in Emmetten, the staff went above and beyond—helping with laundry, offering brilliant touring tips, and solving our transportation challenges. Every meal was a culinary delight, and the hospitality was unmatched. Warm, professional, and genuinely caring, the team made our stay unforgettable, especially the Owner! I can’t recommend this hotel enough—truly a five-star experience in every way!"
