"Excellent communications before we arrived. We were a family of 5, nice small touches; fresh fruit, milk, coffee etc. Rooms were clean, tidy and modern. Parking also a bonus. Really recommend."

"We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service.

"This is simply the best place to stay in Lytham St Anne’s. The rooms are lovey, tastefully decorated with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast is perfect, everything you could want to start the day the right way. The best thing though is the staff. Each and every one of them provide the finest Lancashire Hospitality and this is what sets it apart from other hotels and bnb’s in the local area. Nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The icing on the cake is being a dog friendly place to stay, knowing we can bring our dog just makes it a fantastic experience. Thank you to Sue and all the wonderful team at Howarth House. Your hard work and effort is very much appreciated! "
