"Super clean and well-maintained. A functional kitchen. A short uphill walk to the Furano ski lifts. The manager was great. He supplied us with discounted lift tickets and mailed us some items we accidentally left behind."

"We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts are very friendly, helpful, and communicative. The bus stop is within 3 minutes walking distance and the train station is within 30 minutes walking distance, but the bus can also take you to the station. The property is very well maintained and clean, with all needed amenities provided including washer and dryer. "Great location in town. Near many eateries and convenience stores. The house is big and spacious, quite well equipped but very basic. Sleeps 6 but with only 1 bathroom (but 2 toilets), 4 pax is more comfortable. The huge tv is a bonus. We parked right in front of the house so that’s very convenient. "The apartment is new and is located right at the center, close to restaurants, cafe, station... However, there is no utensils, e.g. fork, spoon... There is not enough towels for 8 of us. The mattress is a bit too soft. No air condition inside the rooms but the air con in the living room is strong enough as long as we open the doors when we sleep. The parking instruction is not clear so often time the lower floor would park and block the road for the second car to park "

"Great Japanese breakfast "

"Nice modern decor which came with free parking. Could imagine staying here for a while since it was such a comfortable stay and came with common work spaces. Great service from Nakajima san! We had some problems with the laundry’s washer and needed to call and trouble her after the front desk was closed. She was so willing to help us despite being off duty. Ms Fu speaks multiple languages and has a good memory. We requested for several items at the front desk and she did not left out anything ! We expected there might be some missing items since this is what we often experienced in other hotels. Thank you ladies! It would be wonderful if there are vending machines to sell drinks and food like sandwiches or simple meals. There is a convenience store about 200 metres down the slope but nothing beats the convenience of vending machines without the need to step out of the hotel!"

"The hotel has both public and private onsen and provides probiotic drinks, wafer ice cream and popsicles after guests had done onsen. The highlight of the stay is clearly the wide range of both Western and Japanese foods available at its buffet breakfast. Room is very clean and comfortable. Front desk and service staff are very polite and helpful."

"Peaceful, beautiful scenery and homely. The hosts were friendly and helpful to share about transport and food options, and answered my questions when I had difficulty navigating Furano (my first time in Hokkaido). As a solo traveler without a car, I am grateful that they picked me up on my first day and sent me to the bus stop on my last day. House is very comfortable and spacious. Thanks Penguin and Jane for being such great hosts!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel The location is excellent with many restaurants nearby. It is an older hotel with the standard smaller rooms. Our twin bed room had plenty of space to store our suitcases and move around, with table and chairs for setting. The bathroom was very small and one drawback it was just a regular toilet. The staff were friendly and helpful if you needed anything. One drawback of the hotel is the carpet in my room at least really needed to be replaced or cleaned, there were stains, the rest of the hotel and our room was in near perfect condition. Next time I'm in the area I will probably stay at the hotel again."
