"Having travelled all my life, I’ve never had a hotel host as accommodating as Mitsunobu. Excellent restaurant reservations, bus reservations, personally drove us to the station because there weren’t taxis around in the rain. The hotel was great but Mitsu was amazing. "

"Beautifully designed, well appointed, thoughtfully presented, and absolutely gorgeous space. It was an excellent stay! The instructions were clear, the staff helpful and friendly. They then showed me around and proceeded to assist with carrying luggage up the stairs to my room, above and beyond customer service - as with everywhere in Japan. Those small touches really stand out when you have been travelling for 3 weeks already. The coffee from the cafe was probably the best I've had in Japan, great cappuccino. "We did not realize that dinner and breakfast was not included even though it said kaiseki meal in the description. One of the nearby restaurants was closed and the other would not seat foreigners. The staff did offer to call us a taxi to take us to a restaurant 10 minutes away, but we ended up eating snacks from the hotel store for dinner. Luckily we were able to add on breakfast the following morning. But our room was wonderful, staff was helpful, and the property was gorgeous."
