"We had a very pleasant and wonderful stay at Ryokan. The excellent service, especially the kaiseki-style breakfast and dinner, provided us with an unforgettable experience full of Japanese culture. "We drove to Hoshinoya Fuji, as it was dark, the entry towards the check-in area is very easy to missed, suggest to have more road sign leading towards the resort. Once we checked in, there is a car to pick us up to our room up the mountain. The view of Fuji is stunning, if you are lucky enough to see it. "The location of this villa was perfect. There are a lot of restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance. The home came with a lot of amenities including toiletries, cleaning supplies, and kitchen utensils etc. The only thing missing was a rice cooker which was minor. "Great stay at this place. Staffs are very welcoming. Fuji Mountain view was spectacular from our villa roof top. The only drawback is that the location is a little far from town- 15mins if you cycle or 30min walking. This will not be of a problem if you have own transport or, if you are fit, can rent a bicycle which is also fun. Hotel provide transportation from/to town but with limited timings.
