En bra liten bas för utforskning av La Frontera och kringliggande delar av El Hierro. Rationaliserad webb-incheckning med kod till rummet. Vänlig, spansktalande personal serverar en riklig frukost. Inga restauranger finns på nära avstånd, så egen bil är nästan en nödvändighet. I samhället, några kilometer bort, finns flera trevliga och prisvärda restauranger. Precis intill hotellet finns en lokal bar, som ger möjighet att träffa lokal befolkning eller bara testa en spansk öl.

Hôtel bien placé, la gardienne des lieux est sympathique et disponible pour nous conseiller sur el hierro. La chambre sentait l’humidité, pas de balcon, mais avec tout de même une vue mer. le p’tit déjeuner est copieux, mais pas de petit dej à emporter pour prendre l’avion tôt dans la matinée.
