The apartments were spacious and comfortable, and having a fully equipped kitchen was extremely convenient, especially for a group our size, as we were able to prepare and enjoy our own meals together. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend Lord Nelson to families and large groups looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay."

"Beautifully manicured grounds on arrival. Easy parking outside our cottage. Good sized bathroom with plenty of hot water and nice toiletries. Well appointed kitchenette and we had to ask for just a couple of essential items. Nice balcony surrounded by trees. However, one of the cats was a real problem coming onto the balcony and leaving mess on the couch. Heavy music from a nearby property was a problem on occasions. Royalton CHIC Antigua, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort – Adults Only

"I assume you meant 1,500 characters (Expedia reviews have a character limit). Here’s a condensed version that stays within that range while keeping the key points: This was our first visit to Antigua, and overall we had a nice stay. The island is beautiful, and the entertainment at Royalton CHIC was a highlight. The performers were energetic, engaged with the crowd, and the nightclub had great music every night. Unfortunately, communication and restaurant reservations need improvement. We received the welcome email introducing our property representative while we were in the air traveling, so we didn’t see it until the next day. That information should also be available in the resort app, especially since the app didn’t seem to be actively monitored. At check-in, we were told to make specialty restaurant reservations 48 hours in advance through the app. We followed the instructions and booked Haven Grill for our final night. When we arrived, we waited only to find out the restaurant was closed. There was no notification or update, leaving us dressed up with no choice but to eat at the buffet, which was unfortunately the worst meal of our trip. Overall, we enjoyed our first trip to Antigua, but better communication, a reliable reservation system, and improvements to the buffet would make the guest experience much better."

"Pros: Great location on both Jolly and Valley Church beaches at the same time. Calm, warm and very clear water. Unbelievable views from cottages and the restaurant. Flowers are everywhere on the property. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Issues (like water or power) are addressed very quickly. Cons: With all beaches on Antigua being public, pushy jet skies rental people from outside of hotel are bothering guests daily trying to get you rent from them."

"Honestly, I don’t know what people are expecting/experiencing. I’ve read the reviews. It’s our second time at the Royalton Antigua. The beach is pristine, the staff is kind and accommodating, the room was beautiful, and the food is decently good. We’re a family of 4 with two young children. The worst part about the place is leaving it."
