"They room was very nice. Clean with upgrades and decorated with ferrier decor, very clever. We enjoyed the deck and the view. We also walked on the drive back to the River house. It was getting late so we did not walk the trails, but we saw deer and one fearless fawn! We decided when we come back, we will try the River house, since it is in the woods and we would be more likely to walk the trails. Our only complaint is the room was cold and we did no figure out how to raise the temperature....

"I always appreciate a swimming pool and this one was big enough for me to swim circles to get my exercise daily. The jets on the hot tub did not work, a small disappointment. The breakfast is always a nice thing with several hours to get down there. The breakfast attendant was cheerful and attentive. It is right across the bluff so we could see the lake and walk across Lake Shore Drive to see the water, waves and sunset."

"We liked everything about this property. We will be telling others about Candlewood Suites. We will be staying again in the future. I really loved the cuboards and the fact that they were stocked with plates, cereal bowls, salad bowls etc. Drawers had silverware for for 2 people plus can opener etc. Stove refrigerator microwave. This is top notch. Staff was so polite and enjoyable too. We came down from Cheboygan MI for a funeral this made our trip worth it. Thank you."
