"We loved the location being so near the Culloden battlefield and Clava Cairns. Additionally, Inverness was a short drive with easy access. The property was lovely and we took advantage of walking the gardens. The library and drawing rooms were perfect to enjoy a cocktail and the breakfast and dinner were terrific. "This historic building is in the perfect location. The dining area is remodeled and absolutely beautiful. Food is really good. The rooms are very nice as well. Just remember there’s no lifts to rooms as it’s a historic building. The location is so close to rail and bus stations. The staff is super nice and very helpful with any needs you might have. There’s a lot of trash outside the hotel as well as old dog poop just sitting outside. The front door was never cleaned up. Inside walls needed to be repainted.
