"This was our first stay at a Drury Plaza Hotel. It was such a great experience. Theo at check-in was super nice and every staff member I encountered during our two-night stay was friendly and always said hello. I think she may have been the manager but she was out during breakfast time greeting everyone and helping to restock everything.
The property as a whole was very clean. There was always someone cleaning something. Amenities were great. My kids enjoyed the pool. I liked that half the pool was covered so I could sit in the shade and watch them. The breakfast area was large with plenty of seating. The breakfast itself was excellent. I liked that they had coffee available throughout the day. We didn’t make it to any of the evening kick backs, but it seemed busy so must’ve been good. They also decorated for the World Cup which was cool. They have a photo op background and all the different countries’ flags hung up.
We had a 2 queen room and it was plenty spacious for two adults and two kids for two nights. Tool was exceptionally clean. Not one hair or leftover crumbs or anything. We didn’t find a couple of ants in the corner by the microwave. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked great once we got it down to 71. The only thing I wish was better were the pillows. They were like half filled down pillows and too flat for me as a side sleeper. I had to request a few extra pillows to double up and even then, still a little flat.
