I loved staying here and was treated by all the wildlife sightings from a bear coming down the mountain to a havelina and in between. The pool is wonderful and the rooms are gorgeous. I just wished the restaurant would have been open on our second day there but we made accommodations for that. This was my second visit to Terlingua Ranch and I would come back again if I had the opportunity!

Very clean and comfy room. The bathroom was a bit outdated but overall clean. The walls were extremely thin, we felt like our neighbors were in the same room with us. The bed was very comfortable. The office staff were friendly and very helpful. The dirt road in was very rough.

The drive to the property is an adventure in itself but the views and the night sky on a clear night are spectacular and more than worth the effort. The staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant staff was very polite and attentive and the food was great. Definitely going back for more stargazing, more peace and quiet, and more friendly service.

The staff was friendly and helped me with any questions and directions that I asked for. The room was clean and stocked with clean towels and blankets. I went out at night and was able to enjoy the stars in the dark skies.

Road into the property was horrendous. The last 3 miles was like a washboard (gravel with ridges). There is no cooking of any kind in the rooms. There isn't a microwave or coffee pot in the room. The refrigerator is dorm sized, so extremely small. The beds were passable, but not great. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked great. While the property itself was nice, it was so far away from everything that we wanted to do that we had to drive an hour to get anywhere. Food, other than the Bad Rabbit Cafe, was an hour away.

Communication and customer service was great. We were instructed.clearly on how to get there, we were able to get to our cabin after the office closed with no issues. The lodge was very cute and very clean. The pool and pool area was also kept clean and the staff at the restaurant was very friendly. Quiet, laid back, and beautiful at night.
