Fort Davis Drug Store Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Old wooden building, so floors to rooms upstairs creaked. Only a few rooms (six, I think) on the upper floor. The Drug Store downstairs itself is closed (and currently for sale), so no breakfast. HOWEVER, the store was furnished with a full pool table, table tennis, and foosball, plus all the furnishings of the business. With only ourselves and one other guest this time, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Upper floor also had a very nice community room with couches, games and tables, a phonograph with vinyl records, tea/coffee service. Again, with so few people staying, it was a luxurious experience. Modern (and quiet) air conditioning system in comfortable, large bedrooms. Access was a bit strange. No staff on site, so entry was by coded electronic lock on side door. Prior owner/manager communication gives you the code and instructions."
Motel Marfa
10/10 Excellent
"Beautifully decorated sparkling clean room with plenty of space. Lovely kitchen with everything provided. There were also laundry facilities that were very handy!"
Butterfield Inn Main Street Cottages
8/10 Good
"Lovely little cottage and fine for an overnight stay. Was expecting a kitchen but must have got that wrong. Did have a microwave and refrigerator though."
Hampton Inn Alpine
8/10 Good
"Our stay was great , only issue there was no Hot water . It was luke warm ."
Fort Davis Inn & R.V. Park

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alpine Southeast by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"room was excellent. probably newly renovated. they were doing upgrades to the property so the pool was closed but no big deal to us. would stay here again."
The Hotel Limpia
10/10 Excellent
"Older hotel, but spacious. Pool was nice. But the restaurant was closed. As we're others in the town. Close to the McDonald Observatory. Staff was really nice. Would stay again."
Riata Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Good pit stop. Gave Bates Motel vibes at night. Not bad though. The hot water takes a bit to warm up so you kinda got to stand there in some luke warm water for 8-10 min."
The Holland Hotel
8/10 Good
"Location was under renovation but it is a historic hotel and the carpet was going to be replaced and our AC went out but they quickly moved us to a new room . Will stay again on our next visit as our son goes to college there and it’s in walking distance to the university."
