"I did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the food. The hotel rooms are very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The linen is fresh and good pillows on the bed. Decent pool, sauna and steam room with a large jacuzzi that could fit around 8 people comfortably. Great view of the small harbour in front of the hotel and out over the city to the left. Plenty of parking to the rear and the city centre is only a few minutes walk away. Great hotel for business or pleasure and a friendly, welcoming team working there. "
"Always a pleasure to stay in Carnoustie golf hotel ,all the staff work very hard to provide an outstanding experience for the guests the rooms prepared to a high standard thanks for that, best wishes Michael Whitehouse "
"Room was spotless, staff were attentive and friendly. I’m Coeliac and require a Gluten Free diet. Staff were very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble to meet my G/F requirements at breakfast time. Many thanks."
"So we had a classic king room which was a small room but nice, bed was ok for comfort, only thing about the room from a woman perspective was if doing hair and makeup there was no light to see what you were doing at the mirror so you had to do separately but this is a small complaint, but it was a very nice hotel friendly staff, food was nice we didn't do breakfast, I would visit this hotel again we loved our stay "
"I stayed for 9 nights and would definitely come back. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for my long stay. The bed and pillows are extremely comfy. The hotel is in a super handy spot! The train station is literally across the road and the bus to Edinburgh airport stops right out the front. Dundee itself is fantastic and has all the shops you’d need.
The only negative things I can mention are there are no clothes washing facilities for longer stays, the rooms can get a bit noisy on a Saturday night, but I slept with earplugs and it was fine and parking is extortionately expensive. There is a washing service available, but it’s also very expensive."
