Hotel Dekat Forest Village Park Mall

"This is a an abomination. The hairdryer room didn’t work, and the desk could not seem to find one for us. There was junk dirt and filth in every single corner of the room. The bathroom has peeling paint. The shower curtain rod was falling off. Check-in was a relative who was about 14 years old and did not know what to do and it took us 40 minutes to get into our room. Do not stay here unless you want to catch a disease."

"Booked a non smoking room but it was definitely smoked in. Ash trays on both sides of the bed. Wobbly desks and chairs. Shower curtain had red marks (not sure if it was blood residue or not), it was torn in multiple places. My clothes smelt like smoke for days even though I checked out same day. Pillows were not bed pillows but looked like couch decor pillows. Im still trying to get my refund but it is a NIGHTMARE!"

"Room was clean. Halls, stairs, elevators were all clean and well maintained. Parking lot was clean and easy to get around. Breakfast was good. Staff was very polite. Will definitely book with again next year."

"The property is aging. They redid floors to vinyl in the room, nice stall shower. However, left an old fridge that froze our meds and fruit. The only 2 lamps in the room had non working bulbs. The indoor pool had cloudy water. Bed was newer and comfortable. I just expected higher standards from a Hilton Doubletree."

"the pool hours are listed outside of the pool area as 10-8 daily. when we went to use the pool the hours on weekdays are only from 6-9 pm. i chose this hotel based on the pool and was very disappointed. "

"We stayed in a handicapped room. It was very spacious for people who has wheelchair. We just wish they have a chair for handicapped in the bathroom. The staff was nice and their breakfast was good. My husband and I have been booking in different hotels for 2 months now. We are from DE, and he had PT &OT in DC once a week 2 days in a row. We liked this hotel since its very accessible, closer to DC and it fits our needs. This is our second time and in about 2 weeks , we will be coming back...
