"Fomos final de outubro, clima bem agradável, porém impossível de utilizar qualquer área externa. O hotel fica muito alto, venta bastante, a piscina é apenas decorativa. O hotel é muito aconchegante. O acesso uma parte da estrada é tensa, só passa um carro, da medo de encontrar um vindo em sentido contrário, quem dá ré? complicado."

"What a beautiful family-run Casa! Old-world charm meets with comfort and convenience. The common areas are so inviting and interesting to browse. We looked forward to head over for breakfast and see what delights would be offered. Always well set up with an excellent variety. Our room was nice and large - very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom amenities (towel warmer, double sized shower with great water pressure, etc.). "

"Excellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend. Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. "

"We had a memorable stay of two nights at the Quinta de S. Bernardo in Douro Valley. "Such a wonderful slice of heaven. Definitely visit this property. The staff were fantastic & so helpful. A bottle of sparkling wine at the pool was €18 and absolutely delicious. The breakfast omelette was delightful, the dinner was delicious. The pool was sensational, such a lovely place to be. Book it! We had a vineyard suite, the Manor House ones seemed further away. "
