"Our King room faced the harbor which was a beautiful April view! The room was a good size for two with a couch and coffee table. I wasn’t a fan of the shower head because you couldn’t adjust it. I’m short so the water was showering my face and I couldn’t avoid getting my hair wet. The resort was clean and the grounds were well maintained. Unfortunately, the pool was a no go because it was over capacity. There were children in the hot tub so we didn’t use it either. Fortunately, there was the Avani Spa, an adult only, spa with a hot tub and pool. It was very nice but for a price of $50 per person. The lady at the front desk was not very polite; still a nice, relaxing, experience! The only time we ate at one of the restaurants was the 1024 which was not a good experience! We called about the breakfast schedule and we were told breakfast was served until 11:00. When we got there it was a breakfast buffet with no menu option. We tried the buffet but all the food, which was limited for the price, was cold! Of course we didn’t eat it and the manager seemed irritated that we complained. We did get a recommendation to Sammy’s On the Square which was delicious! We enjoyed visiting with Carlos, the bartender at 290 West which is inside the resort. It was a nice place for a nightcap and the piano player added a wonderful ambiance. We woke up on Easter to a Easter Bunny handing out candy and they offered two Easter Egg hunts on Easter. It’s wonderful for families with activities daily!"
"We stayed 1 night on a Wednesday so not much to do but it looks like a nice place to visit on the weekends and during the summer. Wish we had more time to explore. "
"Everything was great. We went there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday in March and she had a blast. I also noticed they have daily things to do which was extremely fun and organized. The only thing that my partner and I were not quite satisfied was the food. But other than that such a great getaway spot for kids and parents. "
"The room was very clean and the view to the outside area was amazing. Staff was friendly and they had many activities to offer. Would definitely stay again."
"So I booked this hotel because I saw it had a kiddie pool for my disabled daughter. Whic was the whole purpose why I booked this hotel. On arrival they have signs up saying the kiddie pool is out of service which I asked the staff since when? They said a few weeks in which they should have put that online or something"
"Stayed on a Monday after Easter & loved that there was no one around. The location is great and right across from the lake (even tho it was cold & windy while we were there) We just wanted to chill & the sauna was the perfect answer. There were massages on premises if you wanted. The front desk girl, I'm sad to say, I didn't get her name, but she was delightful & very helpful. She definitely helped make us feel welcome. The suites are spacious & supplies were more than we expected for our stay. I will definitely come back to spend more time when a getaway is in need! "
