Despina herself was so helpful and arranged accommodation and taxis for us when we had to arrive a day early due to ferry strikes from Athens. "Katerina Mare was a wonderful stay! My husband and I loved staying here for our honeymoon. The owners were extremely helpful and made sure to make our stay was comfortable as possible on any need (I.e. parking, water bottles, taxi at the port). "The staff was terrific. The building and amenities were very good. Unfortunately, we were given a 7 x 10 foot bedroom without a phone and we could not even open our travel bags without putting them on the floor. We raised the problem and they offered to change rooms but we had already gotten settled and had to get up at 4 AM to catch a flight the next day, so declined. Note the hotel may be 15 miles or so from the airport. Great hotel but make sure your room is full sized and suits your needs."
