"Over expectations "

"The room was lovely and well equipped. I stayed there while taking part in a marathon, and the location was very convenient, as it was just a few minutes’ walk from Fælledparken, which is also lovely to explore. Communication through the app was good as well. However, I did notice the lack of staff, although I understand this is part of the hotel’s concept. Some guests were noisy throughout my stay, even past the quiet hours. I reported this via the app, but the only solution offered was to send a message to the guests. Unfortunately, I wasn’t sure which room the noise was coming from, as it seemed to be somewhere above me. The bed in my room also had a broken part (not structural), which I accidentally knocked and then had to fix myself. Despite these issues, I still enjoyed my stay overall. The bed was comfortable, and the location is very close to both the metro and a supermarket."

"Location is great, room is fine, but I don't understand why it is the Ascot Hotel, not the Wide hotel which is very confusing when looking for the property. Be careful, hotel called me a cab or the set price of 315 DKK and cab driver charged me 376 DKK. When I inquired as to why, he said it doesn't pertain to weekends. And, at 7 AM on May 17, a pick pocket grabbed me by the shoulders and tried to pickpocket me as he pulled me into his body and heavily tried to have me walk with him. This happened outside the hotel, fortunately the hotel was right there. I am not sure if they showed the video to the police, I did request this to identify the culprit."

"An ideal locale for exploring Copenhagen, a city that can be like a maze at times. Yet the main areas a traveler might take an interest in are all within a walkable distance, including Tivoli gardens and the palace. Dining options are plentiful as well, especially pubs. Loved their lounge area with free snacks and beer and wine. Yes you read that correctly. Also the staff were super helpful as we tried to navigate the bus to the Oslo ferry. In fact the online instructions to the bus were wrong, something staff were able to remedy. Might have been lost otherwise. A great place through which to see Copenhagen."
