"My kids and I stayed at the Island at Fort Walton Beach for 5 days. They had a lot of fun events throughout the day to attend and the live music on the deck by the beach was great. The resort was beautiful! There were a few restaurants and shops within walking distance. We could walk to the Okaloosa Island Pier and the Gulfarium. We were also only a few minute drive to Destin. I had only two concerns: the resort charged an additional $30/per day resort fee at check out. So be prepared to be charged the additional fees. (The front desk staff were not all that friendly or very customer service oriented.) And the breakfast buffet "discounted rate" was $25.00 per person. The food was not worth $25. Other than that, we loved the resort and the time we spent there. We felt safe and the resort was clean and well kept. We would definitely come back! "

"I didn't get the room I requested with a kitchenette, but the stay was still absolutely wonderful.. I wish there was more parking available with the resort instead of limited parking with the rest across the street, but that was not a big issue. I still would recommend Bikini Beach Resort and would definitely stay again. The view from our room was wonderful."

"Perfect location just beside pier park. In front the pier beach and beach of course (across the street) Room is very nice, I love it and very comfortable. 2 drinks per day for happy hour (pay attention the time) 5-6:30pm only limited options but free. I lost first day. Good buffet breakfast, busy but good. My suggestion Hotel should improve the coffee and orange juice quality to meet hotel standards. Nice pool. "
