"The hotel is trying to be something it’s not. It’s tired, needs kept up and that’s just not happening. The toilet in the lobby bathroom was broke for two days, hand pump shampoo in the shower broke, towel hook hanging in a thread, wallpaper peeling in the bathroom, door splitting/splintering off at the bottom, basket seats cushions in the lobby splitting, hallway walls dirty. If I mentioned anything broken it was ignored. They just closed the lid on the toilet and ignored the mountain of TP in it. Rooms need better lamps, they were so dim lit you couldn’t see at night. The restaurant and food situation was confusing and nonexistent with no signage. The landscaping out front and courtyard area in the back were beautiful, fire-pit and tiki areas were really nice. Pool closes at sundown and no hot-tub. If you book a balcony room, disclaimer: you may get an ugly roof view like we did. To move to a different room is $70 extra per night to a room you feel like you completely overpaid for already. The sister property Three Waters is much better quality, cheaper, and had more amenities. Most of the staff were not friendly and seemed like they didn’t want to be there or help (except for the front desk staff, they were phenomenal). When my 15 y/o son notices things are off (and wants to leave immediately (and normally cares about nothing) that’s a sure sign it’s really bad. He wants to stay at a Marriott next time so we are not snookered into a terrible stay at a terrible price."

"Staff was welcoming. We had a few problems-low water pressure, stopper in main bathroom was stuck so we could not use that sink. We had to use the half bath downstairs to brush our teeth, wash our faces and shave. We reported the problems and asked for more towels and trash bags to be dropped off. We were told maintenance was not available until Monday. In the meantime no towels or trash bags were delivered. On Monday I submitted a written list. The sink was repaired, water pressure remained low and we never received the towels or trash bags. On the positive side, staff was kind and welcoming. Our unit was clean and the location was great. "

"It is a nice location close to some good restaurants and the staff were friendly. The issue was the condition of the room. The door had a three-quarter to 1 inch gap underneath of it. The bathroom, which was ADA friendly, had a bench in the shower that folded down, but there was no latch to keep it up and out of the way. There was almost no water pressure in the shower despite the faucet having good pressure as well as a lightbulb out in the bathroom. The whole time we were there, we were thinking that the sounds from outside were unusually loud for having the windows closed and blinds drawn and on her last day there, I walked in front of those windows from outside and realize that the windows themselves were out of the tracks they ride in and cocked sideways so they were partially open. I was also surprised by the 50 something dollar ” resort fee.” when I checked in having already prepaid for my entire stay. "

"Room was covered in bleach when we arrive and the floor were sticky and popping up. The smell of mildew and mold were so potent we ended up getting sick after two nights and had to leave before our check out date due to our symptoms. Told the girl at the front desk and she said a manger would call, never got a call yet. "

"This is one of the great Mom & Pop hotels in the Keys. Reasonable price, clean, friendly staff and great for families. "

"The room was very small. The whole resort needed updating. There is no accommodations for seniors on the first floor. They said they could guarantee the room size, but they could not guarantee first floor access to those with disabilities. Other than the manager who is all business and not very sympathetic to anything, the staff that I met was very nice. To me it wasn’t worth the price we paid for it."
