"The room we stayed in wasn’t nice at all. The bathroom smelt like drains, the shower kept going cold, the sealant was missing and mouldy, there was a big rumbling noise every time you turned a tap on or flushed the toilet.
The rest of the room was a mess the carpet had big brown stains everywhere like something had been spilt and just left to dry. Coffee and tea stains all over the counter and you have to really slam the door to close it.
All in all it was just GRIM! "

"I stayed only a few nights and had wonderful experience. Place is relatively easy to find - this relaxing walk through the green park was a big joyful bonus. Very clean room, comfy bed, good shower. Attention to detail in any aspect. So, it was a real pleasure to return to my room after spending a day in a busy town. Thank you Fiona and Ricardo for making my stay so special. I won't hesitate to rebook again."

"This is a beautiful hotel in all aspects! The breakfast was the nicest hotel I have had in a long while and I travel alot!!
Perfectly situated for the coast, we visited Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and whitby; and for York and Harrogate.
Would definately stay here again if we find ourselves in that part of the country again!!"

"Enjoyed the stay but it was noisy trying to get to sleep in the cottage room and I’m curious as to why there were only 9 loungers in the spa but there are 60 bedrooms ? I had to sit on a chair .. not really the spa experience I was looking for.
Also another gripe of mine is no full length mirrors in bedrooms ? And no table near a mirror to sit and dry hair and do makeup ? It’s the little things that make all the difference."
