"The unit was adequate for a two night stay. Very convenient for early morning boat trip on Doubtful Sound. Beautiful view of lake. Road a stone’s throw in front of unit but not very busy and bedroom was at the rear. Old fashioned interior and furnishings. Plenty of hot water, clean bedding and towels. No television but good WiFi. Overall we felt pricing was a bit on the high side. Parking beside unit. "

"Awesome place if you’re out these ways. Philippa and Rob are amazing hosts. We got a garden view room with a lovely view. Convenient location. The hosts let us park at theirs while we were on the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. Breakfast was included and it was a clocked breakfast. Will definitely stay again"

There recommendations were perfect for us. Clean well appointed room. Hot tub was a nice touch and the Garden very nice. Highly recommended."

"The place was not very clean. There was a stain on the double bedsheet. The kitchen utensils, pots, plates, bowls, cups and glasses were not properly cleaned. The laundry room was quite dirty. The living room sofa looked worn off. The nicest place of this motel room was the bathroom. The motel office was closed most of the time and hence, we were not able to let them know our concerns. "
