While I did not use the pool during my stay, I did use the hot tub & it was a lovely escape after being in the cold river training all day. Also, you are provided with actual keys for your room. I regret not learning her name to give her credit for making the stay perfect. She was very friendly and gave lots of good advice on places to eat.
